When we are lost in our thoughts, most of us are stuck in the past or the future. We automatically think either about what happened yesterday or this morning or an hour before or, what we can do, be, have later, tomorrow or in the future. But we keep forgetting that we live in the present moment.
This moment here is actually our friend. This moment here is what matters because this is where we can choose to BE. This moment here with the task at hand; with the conversation that needed to be started or listened to; this moment when we can choose to forgive, to be calm, to be still.
Right here, now is where we can choose to express love, right here when you can still say I love you.
